OFRU Recycling GmbH has advised us that they currently have a range of factory-refurbished reclaimation systems available.
The solvent systems currently available range in size from 30 litre vessels (reclaimation rate approximately 8 litres/hour) to 500 litre vessels (reclaimation rate approximately 150 litres/hour).
The water systems range from 7 litres/hour to 31 litres per hour reclaimation rates.
Contact us for more details.
Water may be inexpensive in Australia by world standards, but supply and disposal still cost, especially for large quantities.
Why send wash water into the sewer or stormwater system? If grease, oils, diesel fuel and other hydrocarbons, as well as heavy metals are present in the wash water, whether the stream goes into sewer or stormwater drain, it is not doing any favours to anyone.
Recycling and reuse of wash is a better option, especially if the really bad stuff can be separated and the clean water used again.
OilTrap Environmental and UltraTech make systems that will provide clean water for reuse, or at the very least, help reduce pollution of our waterways and seashore.
Our “Convenience Store” at www.novasysdirect.com.au is up and running.
If you need to order small amounts of Leneta charts and cards, JP Ceramics filter elements, ACCUVIN test kits for wine grapes and fruit any time; even after hours, at weekends or during public holidays, you can do it on-line and your order will be shipped ASAP by Registered Post.
If you are a “regular” customer, you can pay by Credit Card, or if you normally pay on account, just check the “cheque” option and we’ll know how to handle it.
If you are a city or town dweller, hopefully not. If you live in a rural area, or have a holiday house at the beach or in the country, good quality water for domestic purposes – including drinking – could be a scarce item.
There may be a supply of fresh surface water nearby; from a river, creek, lake or irrigation channel that is totally unsuitable “as is”, or the town water supply may be dodgy, especially in old country towns.
The Fresh Water Filter Company provides “whole-of-house” microfiltration systems that will screen out dirt AND all microorganisms, including harmful bacteria, such as e.coli.
Two systems are available, one for dwellings with up to four people, the other for 5 persons and above. The smaller unit will provide 300,000 litres per year and the larger unit 600,000 litres/year at a rate of 720 litres/hour and 1440 litres/hour respectively.
Cost? About 40 cents/kilolitre over 5 years, at full capacity.
Companies invest in technology; instruments, machines, etc., because they pay for themselves in increased productivity, better quality, fewer rejects, less rework and more sales through increased customer satisfaction.
But however much the technology is needed, the cry goes up from managers, “We don’t have the capital”, or “It takes 6 months to go through the Capex approval process”. Yet these same managers are empowered to authorise recurrent expenditure within their expense budgets.
Rental of technology provides many benefits….
* Get the equipment
you need NOW… and pay as you use it.
* Flexibility… upgrade when you need to, even before the end of the rental term.
* Rental payments fully tax deductible.
* Off balance sheet
* Include everything you need for a total solution
* Options to purchase, continue rental, upgrade, return, at end of rental period.
Managers who refuse to consider the option of renting needed equipment are doing themselves and their companies a disservice.
A $20,000 instrument or machine can be rented for less than $30/working day over 4 years. If you have the authority to spend $30/day, ask yourself how much such an investment can save each day, and then call us.
